Húsavík Whale Watching

North Sailing was the first company in Iceland to offer scheduled Whale Watching tours and is now a leading tourism company in Iceland. The popularity of Whale Watching has grown rapidly and now, 15 years later, North Sailing has carried more then 300.000 guests on around 8.000 Whale Watching and nature exploration tours.

The growing flow of visitors has allowed North Sailing to salvage more oak boats and also enabled restoration on the harbour front where some old buildings have been refurbished and others rebuilt. Whale Watching is now one of the most popular tourist activities in Iceland.
