Magnificent season start for North Sailing
Today, 22 passengers of different nationalities enjoyed watching the earths largest animal, the blue whale on board Bjössi Sör. Not only was a blue whale spotted on the tour but two humpback whales as well!

Different fate of oak boats

It was a busy day at the Húsavík shipyard today. Náttfari, North-Sailing‘s whale watching boat was being prepared for a facelift and he North-Sailing staff is busy preparing its boats for the summer. The first whale watching trip of the season was yesterday, when Bjössi Sör took 16 passengers from various countries to see the whales of Skjálfandi bay. In this tour both White beaked dolphins and Minke whales were spotted.

Today is the so-called “first day of summer“ in Iceland. It is not to say that this particular day is the first one this year to show some signs of summer.

North Sailing‘s employees busy preparing the 13th summer of whale watching
North Sailing‘s employees are bus y preparing for the 13th summer of whale watching. A lot needs to be done before carrying enthusiastic visitors out to Skjálfandi bay, where whales and birds reside, not to mention the beautiful view of mount Kinnarfjöll.
