The scottish tour manager Mr. Sinclair Dunnett came to visit North Sailing yesterday, with group of people from the U.K. for the twelfth consecutive year.

North Sailing team at RumRegatta in Flensburg
This winter on his visit to Húsavík, polar explorer Arved Fuchs invited North Sailing to participate with him and his Dagmar Aaen crew during the RumRegatta festival in Flensburg.

The whale school visits North Sailing
Around 40 fifht graders from the local school came to visit us yesterday. We took them whale whatching, sea angling and bird whatching.

First whale watching tour for Náttfari this season
This morning Náttfari went out for the first time whale watching with passengers this season. The bay was very lively and our crew members, with good help from the passengers, managed to spot three species of whales; Humpbakcs, Minke and Harbore porpoise.

A Humpback returns after bad weather

North Sailing has been offering 2 trips per day, at 10:00 and 13:30 from the beginning of May with the exception of few days when it was not possible at all to go out. Today was the first day that a humpback was sighted after the northerly wind period to much happiness of the passengers.
