Blue Whales spotted on two tours today!
3 Blue Whales were spotted on the two later departures today, or at 17:00 and 20:15.
Photographers Heimir and Himmi went on a sightseeing flight with Fjardaflug to photograph Bjössi Sör as captain Hrolfur, crew and passengers observed these magnificent animals that can be as long as 30 meters and weigh almost 200 tons.

On the way back to the airport the pilots took a few circles over Húsavík city - the whale watching capital of Europe as some like to say.
