North Sailing boats found Killer whales today they occationally follow schools of herring in to Skjálfandi bay.

It surpriced many among the passengers to see a minke whale swimming along with the killer whales but the killer whales are sometimes known to attack other whales. According to North Sailing´s marine biologist Pere Morea there are two types of Killer whales, and those were obviously the friendly ones.
