Fin Whales seen in all North Sailing tours today

This saturday has been one of the best this summer with up to 6 species of whales spotted in some of the trips. Minkes, Blues, Humpbacks, Dolphins, Porpoises & Fin whales were around in the bay but we could say that the 3 Fin whales played the biggest part of the show.

Fin whales are the second largest whales growing up to 27 meters and 80 tonnes. More info on the Fin whales are to be found on this site under "Skjálfandi Whales" or here: http://www.northsailing.is/finwhale.asp?tID=3

The following pictures were taken by the engineer of Náttfari.
