The first whale of the 14th season...

aggi og halfvitar
A minke whale near the mountains of Vík. Lot of snow is still in the
mountains but today the temperature rose up to almost 15 degrees.

The bay seemed lively and within just 20 minutes a big minke whale was spotted as well as a seal (bladder nose seal). Lots of birds have arrived in the bay and we were happy to see several puffins on the water. Razor bills, guillemots and even a gannet was spotted.

This is marks the beginning of North Sailing´s 14th season on Skjálfandi Bay.
