First whale watching tour for Náttfari this season
This morning Náttfari went out for the first time this season whale watching with passengers. The bay was very lively and our crew members, with good help from the
passengers, managed to spot three species of whales; Humpbakcs, Minke and Harbore porpoise.
Before this season started we improved the work facility for our captains on bord Náttfari by putting up a flybridge in 9 m. hight.
Now our captains have a brilliant 360° view around the boat. This will help our crew alot in the search for the whales and will with out a doubt reasults in
even more succesful whale whatching tours. The new flybrigde will also help our captains to approach the whales with out disturbing them at all.
Few years ago we put up a similarly facility for the captains on bord both Knörrinn and Bjössi Sör. The new flybridge allowes the captains to steer all of
North Sailing´s boats from the deck.
