Plenty of whales on a sunny day
This beautiful morning our boat Bjössi Sör went whale whatching with around 30 passengers. The weather has been brilliant here in Húsavík the last couple of days, and today was no exeption.
And just after a few minutes the first whale was spotted. A big Minke whale. All in all the crew managed to find 3 Minke whales, 3 Humpback whales, a group of White Beaked dolphins and a few Harbour porpoises.
The weather forcast for the rest of the week is very good, sun and slow wind. So this week is ideal for a whale watching tour in the lively Skjálfandi bay.
