A sunny day

Today, after a lot of fog, rain and cold northerly wind for the last few days, the sun started to shine again here in Húsavík. This morgning we took both Náttfari and Bjöss Sör out for whale whatching with 115 passengers.

After 30 minutes or so we spotted two Humpback whales swimming together. They were very calm, problably just enjoying the sun in the surface.

After we left the two Humpback whales we spotted a really big group of White Beaked Dolphins. It´s usually impossible to count the Dolphins but we believe that there were at least 60 Dolphins in this group.

You have to be quicker than that to get a good picture of the White
Beaked Dolphins

The weather forecast for the next few days is excelent, so come visit us and enjoy the weather and the whales in the beautiful surrounding of Skjálfandi bay
