Busy day

Today we had a really big day so big that we had to rent an extra boat, Níels Jónsson, a 30 ton oak boat from Eyjarfjörður. We took Níels out for two tours today and we were very happy with the boat. The weather was fantastic today, sunny and 20°C and the Bay is full of whales.

For the last few days Humpbacks have been the main entertainers here in Skjálfandi Bay. We have seen all up to eight Humpbacks in one tour and some of them have been jumping and tail slapping very close to our boats. We have also spotted Minkes, Dolphins and Harbour porpoises.
