Arved Fuchs - Ice Climate Education in Húsavík

During 10th - 20th of August a group of 14 students from 12 different nations stayed in Húsavík. The reason was Arved's Fuchs second Ice Climate Education, (the first one was held in Spitsbergen (Svalbard) last year).

The group was altogether 25 people, including teachers and lecturers and last but not least the chef of Arved's sailing ship Dagmar Aaen for almost two decades, Falk Mahnke who cooked for the group in Guesthouse Visir where they stayed.

The purpose of the youth camp was to educate people from different parts of the world about climate changes and the environment as well as they had to undertake themework-projects with their fellow students.

Their website can be seen here.
