After few weeks where the bottlenosed whales have been the main entertainer the humpback is back!  Most of August has seen Northern bottlenosed whales play the main role in the bay but in the last trip of today captain Hreiðar and guide Thordis found a humpback whale to much joy after two very poor trips where only porpoises were spotted.

Let's hope he's here to stay as there still many weeks left of the 2008 season.
