September super tour!

It was a september super tour that was offered today by captain Hreiðar Olgeirsson and guide, Þórdís Jóhannesdóttir when they ventured out to Skjálfandi bay on m/b Bjössi Sör. The last few days have been tricky with some unsuccessful tours but others with minke whales, humpback whales and even bottlenosed whales.

Today however they were very lucky spotting 2 fin whales, a calm mother with her calf and then two seperate humpback whales as well as a group of dolphins.  To top the trip the weather in Húsavík is absolutely gorgeus with temperatures rising near 20 degrees celsius.

Following are pictures taken by Sari Ojanen a Finnish tourist but she was traveling with her husband Tero Ojanen.
