The minke whales playing the main role

Like in the last days the minke whales are playing the main role in the bay. The weather has been on our side in the last three days so the bay has been really beautiful. Apart from a bit of rain today it was indeed a good day with minke whales. On both my trips we saw around 4 or 5 minke whales and they were pretty calm, often coming up right next to the boat. At one point we saw a minke whale half-breaching with the mouth wide open. Something I don't see that often out there. Also on my second tour the minke whale came so close that it startled me when it came up. Out there is also one of the smallest minke whale that I have ever seen in my life. I would guess that it was just born this year. Really cute.

Following are pictures taken by second guide Christian today and earlier in the week.
