Gardar up in the shipyard

One of the two newest Northsailing boats Gardar is now up in the Husavik shipyard for the first time for witch we can call a final touch, meaning both routine maintenance and repairing if require.

This will probably take few veeks.

This is the biggest wooden boat who have ever been in this shipyard and when she is ready she will be the biggest wooden boat operating in icelandic waters.

One of Our boats Bjossi Sor was placed on anker in front of the shipyard to use as helping boat, they but a line between the boats to guide Gardar in place, this was done becource of strong wind, and everything vent according to plan.

We had the camera with us in the shipyard, covering the event and here are some photos .
