A Master of Icelandic in Reykjavik

The newsmonger was visiting the capital last week and thought it ideal to visit one of North Sailing’s employee, Þórdís Jóhannesdóttir.

Þórdís is currently studying Icelandic literature at the University of Iceland and if everything goes as planned she recives her MA degree next spring.

Þórdís has been a guide for North Sailing for many years now and the last years she has also trained other guides, taken care of news and blog for the webpage, done various work in the office, been in control of the entertainment committee and we’re probably forgetting something but the summer of 2010 she also took on a role in the comedy show “Lets Tal’k Local” which took place every day in restaurant Gamli Baukur.

The newsman payed Þórdís a call where she lives with her friend Tinna Þórarinsdóttir from Húsavík, in a cozy apartment in the old western part of Reykjavík.

Following are photos of the young lady both working and relaxing now and then.
