Season start 2012

The first tour of the season was on April 2nd. The weather was beautiful but really cold with some fresh snow around and a couple of minus centigrades. The second tour was today and the weather was a little bit milder and the sea was quite flat.

We sailed out across the bay towards the Mountains of Creeks which look extremely beautiful all dressed in white. There were a lot of birds around, puffins, guillemots, gannets, cormorants, arctic terns and fulmars. While we are still waiting for the bigger whales to arrive, we did spot some harbour porpoises... we take that as a good sign and hopefully we´ll have lots of good sightings in the days to come.
