Whale Watching and Lake Mývatn NS-1A
A day tour from Reykjavík where you combine a visit to the biggest attraction of Northern Iceland, Lake Mývatn, and whale watching from Húsavík. Departure is early morning from the airport in Reykjavík and the flight takes you straight to Húsavík airport (10 km from the town). First on the agenda is a guided tour around the town of Húsavík which ends with a visit to the Whale Museum followed by lunch at Restaurant Gamli Baukur and the 3 hour whale watching tour.
From Húsavík is approx. 40 mins drive to Lake Mývatn and there this stunning area will be explored with a guide. At the end of the day there is an oppertunity to go to the Mývatn Nature Baths, the perfect way to relax before the flight back to Reykjavík.
