It's been going well so far today, with more of the same mild weather as yesterday.  Some of the Minke whales have been around the same area as yesterday, and it didn't take long to find the first one when I went out earlier.

Have you tried going out on a whale watching trip on a sailing boat ?

North Sailing offers passengers to go out on a whale watching tour on one of our two sailing boats. The Puffin Island is visited and of course the crew puts up the sails with the passengers assistance.

Coming out of the harbor, I noticed the weather was incredibly mild in the bay.  It didn't take long until we spotted the first Minke whale.

The weather is still perfect in Húsavík, sunny most of the time. It was slightly foggy though for a short time in the afternoon but it didn't affect any of our tours.

Today was quite a day in the history of North Sailing when Garðar sailed out whale watching for the first time. I got the honor of being the first guide to take passengers out and it was indeed a successful first tour.

The weather was amazing today, the sun shining and in the evening the midnight sun was really beautiful.

Today was a remarkable day with the whales. The weather was good; Sunshine and next to no wind.

The weather in Húsavík today is amazing, the bay completely calm and the sky clear. The scenery doesn't get much more beautiful than on a day like today.

Today we had several minke whales with us both by the bottom of the bay and in the east, a short way from harbour.

Today we started off in a great fashion, with minke whales practically inside the harbour.

Today the weather was okay, but the whales were quite difficult to spot.

The skies were still grey but at least it wasn‘t raining.

Brr... it was really cold out there this morning, the sky grey and sometimes it was raining. But everybody put on warm overalls and off we went.

Today was a fine day out on sea.
