A beautiful bay with minke whales

I only had one trip today, the one at 17:00. And when I came to the pier the crew from the last trip was really pessimistic because the tour had been difficult and they thought that the minke whales were just leaving the bay. So we went out believing that this would be a difficult tour. But that was definitely not the case. We had not been out for a long time when we spotted one really nice minke whale. At the same time I saw something small and black in the distance and asked captain Hrólfur to put the binoculars on the spot. It turned out to be a group of dolphins, the white-beaked doplhins. Something I haven't seen for a while. After that we found two or three more minke whales and by that time the wind was totally calm and the sun was breaking out so it was one of the most beautiful trips I have done in a long while.
