Whale Watching Blog

Sunday and monday

It got a little bit windy on sunday morning but it didn’t last long, the wind had calmed down in the afternoon. The weather fortunately didn’t affect our success with the whales. Humpback whales were seen on all our tours both days and usually minke whales and harbour porpoises as well. On the second tour on sunday one of the humpback whales even breached which all the passengers watched in astonishment. Guide Helga returned on monday for her first day this season and was really happy at the end of the day, apparently she had missed the whales during the winter.
