A nice calm day - 3 species

A big day in Iceland today, election day and Eurovision. But for us it doesn't matter which day it is, the whales neither vote nor sing in Eurovision. The both tours today were quite similar. There was a humpback whale in the middle of the bay, some porpoises all around and a minke whale in the eastern part as well as plenty of puffins. We had great success on all the trips, one of the porpoises breached which I haven't seen happen in a long time. The humpback whale has been identified by Christian at the Whale museum and is apparently a friend of ours from May last year, we named it Jonni then I believe. I'm alway as amazed when this happens, to see a whale that I've seen maybe a year or more ago.

All in all a nice whale day, don't know if the same will be about the results of Eurovision or the elections.
