A windy day with blue whales and a humpback whale
The weather in Húsavík was amazing today but I can’t say the same about the weather in the bay, it was very windy. And therefore a bit difficult to spot and I was a bit anxious when I went out at 17:00 because on the tour before we had seen two blue whales with great success but they were heading out of the bay and I was pretty sure we wouldn’t be able to reach them. And I was right but we did find a nice humpback whale and got quite close to it despite the wind and the waves.
