Plenty of sightings in lovely weather

We were lucky with the weather today, and sightings were good as well.  The weather was mild early in the day, and visibility was rather good.  On both the tours I went on with captain Hreiðar, the Minke whale was not far away.  We got a very close look at quite a few Minke whales over the day, and I think most tours had good luck with those.  There were also some White Beaked dolphins in the bay, and we got a look at those in both tours as well.

What really made my day happened in the second tour, when all of a sudden, the sun came out.  At the same time, we ran into a lovely group of White Beaked dolphins, and they followed the boat for a long while, giving us a great look at them beneath the surface while they rolled around and showed their whole body.   With the previously good weather, which by then was completely perfect, this was really an occasion where I wish I had brought a camera along.
