A humpback whale in rough conditions

When we left the harbour this morning at 10:00, the wind was blowing quite strong from the north and that often means that there is some swell in the bay. The conditions were totally different from yesterday and even though it was a bumpy ride, it didn't take us long to spot the blow from a humpback whale in the distance. We managed to get closer to the whale and got some nice views, as the humpback whale was surfacing several times not too far away from the boat.

Even though conditions were pretty tough, most passengers were in a really good mood and were excited to see the humpback whale.

The weather forecast for tomorrow looks much better and of course we hope that the humpback whale(s) will still be around.
