The easy life of the guide

I just came in to work again yesterday, I had been abroad doing some other personal stuff. I had two trips yesterday and two today. And what a joy it was. The weather is just perfect, whales everywhere and the North Sailing crew has never been more qualified over all, since I started working here 4 summers ago. Long story short, all these four trips were well above average, 3 and 4 species in all of them, a breaching humpback in the 20:15 trip yesterday evening and a whole lot of smiling faces and laughter, both passengers and the crew.

On the way back home just now I could not help but thinking that I am actually getting paid to do this. How weird is that?

But I admit, it is not always this good. I wish all days were like these two.
