A beautiful day on the water for a change
After some difficult weeks on the water, the conditions today were astonishing, sunny and sweet and the water surface was very calm. Even better, there were more Humpback Whales around and in more accessible locations than often before. This time we did not have to search for them in very shallow water close to land as there were at least 3-5 around the middle of the bay for most of the day. We also saw the odd Minke Whale here and there and some splashes indicates that tiny Harbour Porpoises were around as well but these were only seen momentarily. Finally a small group of White-beaked Dolphins was seen on the evening tour.
