Large crowd/ Large Sun
The days go by in Husavik and the beautiful weather has not yet left us. We welcomed today quite a large crowd for this time of the year. And if the whales are not yet back with us, our guests still very much enjoyed the ever more stunning lanscape on the East side of the bay.
We sailed by the end of the tour around Lundey, that will soon be the home of a large puffin colony (Thus its name “the Puffin Island”).
The spectacular view over snowy Stranður, the large beach, South of Skalfandí Bay.
These are some happy people!!!
Our Captain Kristjón….
…and our passengers, all on the lookout for whales, as we were passing by Lundey.
Our hillarious guide Nils, here all blurry, while slightly shadowing the charming moutain of Husavik.
