During this tour we found some lively white beaked dolphins.
Minke whale was the entertainment that our guests got to enjoy while sailing out on Skjálfandi bay both on during those two days.
Today it was quite lively, we spotted a minke whale as well as some harbour porpoises and close to the mountains there was a small quorious seal swimming around:)
The Minke whale seen 2 days ago hasn´t been found although seen by some fishermen every now and then. It seems to be feeding in the shallower parts of the bay but disapearing when we come to the area.
Finally after searching around in the bay, capt. Hrólfur and guide Christain managed to find a minke whale!
The same difficult situation: no whales were spotted during these days…

It was really pleasant to spot a Minke whale today as well as a Humpback and some dolphins. Hopefully the Humpack will stay with us for some days and it seems like he has found some good feeding areas since he seems to be circling around in the bay. Fingers crossed… 😉Details

August 23rd. Even though the weather has been quite ok today, the whales have moved to other areas and we did not spot any whales today!
