Schooner Hildur was launched today and everything went very well. In the next few days a work on setting up the rig will begin. A bow-sprit, davits and two gorgeous masts around 20 meters high each. Minke whale was the entertainment that our guests got to enjoy while sailing out on Skjálfandi bay both on during those two days.
Today it was quite lively, we spotted a minke whale as well as some harbour porpoises and close to the mountains there was a small quorious seal swimming around:)
Capt. Hrólfur and guide Himmi went on two tours today and managed to show minke whale in both tours. You can read more about minke whales here.
